Association President Paul Griffiths has offered his full support to the Police Federation of England and Wales following the cyber attacks that have affected the organisation, and its subsequent decision to cancel its national conference.
Ch Supt Griffiths said:
“We fully understand the difficult decision made by the PFEW to cancel its annual conference.
“It demonstrates the severity of the IT situation they are dealing with.
“There has been regular contact between the national officers of PSA and PFEW and we remain fully supportive of their current situation, offering whatever help we can.”
