Police officers, staff and volunteers from across the country have been recognised in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours List.
Individuals from all ranks, and performing a wide range of roles within the policing family, have been awarded honours for their services to policing.
President of the Police Superintendents’ Association, Paul Griffiths OBE, said:
“On behalf of everyone at the Police Superintendents’ Association, I would like to congratulate every member of the police family who has been named in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours.
“Every recipient is being rightly recognised for their outstanding dedication to public service and for their incredible efforts to support policing.
“These honours are a fitting recognition of the impact our officers, staff and volunteers make on their communities, which has never been more poignant than amidst the pandemic, and I’m delighted for every person being awarded today.”
